THE UNIVERSITY OF LONDON MOUNTAINEERING CLUB

What it costs

ULMC membership costs £10 per year. Weekend trips away cost £30 and include transport, food and accommodation. The club provides breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, sandwiches for Saturday and Sunday lunch and hot evening meal on Saturday night. Accomodation is generally in huts owned by mountaineering clubs which are dry and get warm. We usually do a few camping trips in summer only.

What you will need

We have a very large amount and wide range of equipment for you to use. All that you need to provide is personal equipment such as warm/waterproof clothing, sleeping bag and walking/climbing boots.

Full equipment list (for weekend trips)
* Clothes to walk / climb in. Denim jeans are NOT suitable.
* Warm clothes
* Water bottle
* Walking boots (& thick socks)
* Rock shoes if you want to climb
* Sleeping bag (couple of club ones available)
